CORK FLOORING
 |
Cork is harvested from the bark of cork trees, without felling the trees themselves, making it a truly renewable resource. About one third of the bark is stripped about every nine years. Cork provides durable and attractive floor finish which will maintain its original appearance for years. The insulating and energy saving effects directly influence heating costs too.
In these days of increasing concern for the environment, cork remains the only tree whose bark can regenerate itself after harvest leaving the tree unharmed. Cork trees are a variety of oak tree that re-grow their bark every 9 years, resulting in an all natural, environmentally product. |

Cork flooring is a unique, decorative material, featuring whorls of speckled patterns which vary from tile to tile, making each installation an individual statement. When cork flooring undergoes the baking process, after being formed into sheets, it offers subtle color variation that allows you to be creative in terms of layout – you are free to make your flooring project your own!
